In the name of God, Amen. I, William M. Satterfield of the County of Kent & the State of Delaware considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, & the certainty of death, being of sound mind & in a reasonable state of health of bocy, thanks be to God for the same, do make this my last will & testament in manner & form as follows. I commit my soul to God who gave it & my body to be decently buried by my friends & that all my debts be paid as soon as it is convenient.

Item I give & bequeath unto Elijah Satterfield my youngest son my Mansion Farm & tract of land with the appurtainences and improvements thereunto belonging, it being & lying in Kent County & State of Delaware containing three hundred & seven acres be the more or less to him his heirs & assigns forever.

Item I give & bequeath unto my son Thomas Satterfield a Tract of Land in Caroline County & State of Maryland near Collinses Crossroads containing about two hundred acres be the same more or less with the improvements & appurtainences thereunto belonging to him his heirs & assigns forever & also two hundred dollars more than I have given him as his share of my personal property to be paid to him by my Executors out of my personal __ __ .

Item I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Elizabeth Harington a Tract of Land I purchased of the agent of the ___ bank of Smyrna & Milford it being and lying in Kent County & State of Delaware containing two hundred & ninety seven acres, be the same more of less with the Improvements & appurtainences thereunto belonging to her, her heirs & assigns forever & also One hundred dollars to be paid out of my personal property over & above what she has she received & in receipted for to be paid by my Executor acording to law. Item I Give & bequeath unto my son Andrew Satterfield Three Hundred & fifty dollars over & above what he has receipted for to be paid out of my personal property by Executors acording to Law.

Item I give & bequeath unto my son William Satterfield a bond which I held on him over & above what he has receipted for to be given unto him by my Executor

Item I Give & bequeath unto Elijah Satterfield all the residue of my personal property after the several bequests mentioned in my will are paid, & do hereby Constitute & appoint my son Elijah Satterfield my executor after my decease, of the my last will & testament, revoking all other will or wills that may or have been made by me. In witness whereof I have set my hand & seal this Eighth day of Febr. In the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred & Twenty eight. Signed & sealed by the above named William M. Satterfield in the presents of us who have set our names hereunder in the presents of the testator
