WILL OF JOHN W. TWILLEY
WICOMICO CO., MARYLAND
JANUARY 03, 1896


In the name of God, Amen, I, John W. Twilley of Wicomico County in the State of Maryland, being of sound disposing mind, memory and understanding, do make this my last will and testament, in manner and form of following, hereby revoking and annulling all former last wills and testaments, heretofore made by me.

Item 1. After my debts and funeral expenses are paid, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Leah C. Twilley all my personal estate of every description, kind and nature and wheresoever situated absolutely to do with as she pleases.

Item 2. I give devise and bequeath to my said wife Leah C. Twilley my "Home Farm", lying in Quantico District Wicomico County, Maryland, where I now live during her natural life, at her death I give and devise said "Home Farm" to my two sons Robert Twilley and Levin R. Twilley, share and share alike, each of my said sons to pay to each of my daughters, viz: Rebecca E. Allen, Virginia A. Wilson, Mary R. E. Hearn and Roxanna Riggin the sum of twenty two dollars, each, to be paid to each of their or their respective heirs, within twelve months from the date of my death, which said sums are hereby made a charge on said land.

Item 3. I give devise and bequeath unto my sons Samuel C. Twilley, John L. Twilley, William F. Twilley, George W. Twilley and Francis J. Twilley, all that part of my land, lying in Trappe District, Wicomico County, Maryland, known as the "Collins Farm" which I have not included in the deeds I have made to them for parts of said "Collins Farm".

Item 4. I herby constitute and appoint my said wife Leah C. Twilley to be the sole executrix of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made, hereby declaring this and none other, to be my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of January in the year of Our Lord eighteen hundred and ninety-six.
