This Indenture made the fifteenth day of October in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety and Six between George Twilley & Ann Twilley his wife and Joseph Twilley & Sarah Twilley his wife of Somerset County in the State of Maryland and William Rose and Peggy Rose his wife and Samuel Bradley and Elizabeth Bradley his wife of Sussex County and State of Delaware of the one part and Thomas Bradley of Sussex County and State of Delaware of the other part. Witnesseth that the aforesaid George Twilley and wife and others aforesaid for and in Consideration of the sum of Forty Pounds will and truly paid by the aforesaid Thomas Bradley unto the aforesaid George Twilley and wife and others aforesaid at and before the Sealing and Delivery hereof the ? whereof the aforesaid George Twilley and wife and others aforesaid for themselves their heirs and assigns forever Doth hereby acknowledge hath given Granted Bargained and Sold and by these present Doth give Grant Bargain and Sell Convey and Confirm unto the aforesaid Thomas Bradley and his heirs and assigns forever All their right and Title Interest Claim or Demand that they have by any right with all that Tract of Land called and known by the name of Tulley's Choice for which said Land is situate lying and being in Sussex County and in Little Creek hundred and the aforesaid Land is buted and bounded and known to lie near and joining with the North Provinsel Line that divides Land between the Delaware State and the State of Maryland and lieth and Joineth on the North side of a branch called Beverdamn Branch for which said Branch Poss??? Out from Barren Creek the same being a Tract of Land that was Conveyed by Deed of Sale from a certain James Tully unto Samuel Bradley Land at that time was in Somerset County in the State of Maryland but now in Sussex County and State of Delaware Together with all and Singular the Improvement or Improvements with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the said Thomas Bradley and his heirs and assigns forever To have and to hold all the right and Title to the above described Tract of Land aforesaid mentioned called and known by the name of Tulley's Choice with all the appurtenances thereunto the Same belonging unto him the said Thomas Bradley and his heirs and assigns forever To the Only use and Behoof of him the said Thomas Bradley and his heirs and assigns forever And for no other use or uses whatsoever and we the said George Twilley and wife and others aforesaid for Ourselves and Each of Our heirs and assigns forever doth Grant Promise and Agree to and with the said Thomas Bradley and his heirs and assigns forever that the aforesaid Granted and Bargained Premises that they will forever Warrant and Defend the Same from all person or persons whatsoever claiming or that shall hereafter claim the same by or under us or them by these present we the aforesaid George Twilley and wife and others aforesaid doth nominate Constitute and appoint James Wilson Esq. and Major Seth Griffith our true and lawfull attorney's or Either one of them for us and in our names and steads to appear before the Court of Common pleas for the County of Sussex then and to acknowledge this Deed of Bargain and Sale in due form of Law and hereby Ratify and Confirm the Lawfull Act of Our said attorneys or Either one of them doing the Same for us to be in as Good and Ample a manner as we Ourselves might or Could do were we Personally Present Ourselves In Testimony whereof we have to these present Our hands Set and Effixed Our Seals the day and year ritten as above

The State of Delaware Sussex County to wit

Be it remembered that at a Court of Common pleas held at George Town in and for the County of Sussex aforesaid on the Sixteenth day of November in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and Ninety Six Isaac Moore made Oath in due form of Law that he saw the Grantors in the within Deed named Sign Seal and deliver the same, that he Subscribed his name thereto as a witness and saw Mary Moore Subscribe her name/by marking her mark/ as one other witness, at which said time James Patriot Wilson Esquire by virtue of the power and authority to him herein given did acknowledge the with Deed to Thomas Bradley with the Lands and premises therein specified to be his right & property according to the purport & effect thereof, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & seal of office the Seventh day of January in the year of Our Lord One thousand and Seven hundred & Ninety Seven.
